DESCRIPTION Assistant Managers are our General Managers’ right-hand partners. They do more than simply support and occasionally take the reins. As an Assistant Manager for Slim Chickens you will need to: <ul><li>Support the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the business, both Front of House and Back of House</li><li>Lead by example and inspire your team to deliver outstanding guest hospitality</li><li>Act as a brand ambassador, building awareness of the Slim Chickens brand</li><li>Support with local marketing opportunities to drive sales and the presence of your restaurant and the Slim Chickens brand in your local area</li><li>Ensuring compliance with all Company policies and procedures.</li><li>Proactively develop and train your team to be the best at what they do</li><li>Help in building a passionate, engaged team that provide a great guest experience and can support with future new site opening</li></ul> To carry out this role you will need to be over 18 Responsibilities <ul><li>Manage and supervise Shift Leaders and Team Members</li><li>Support the General Manager to oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure all Company standards are adhered to</li><li>Support the delivery of all key training with the General Manager and identifying training needs and capability gaps within the team</li><li>Ensure that all audit requirements are adhered to, including Health and Safety, Food Audits, Stock take, EHO and Financial Audits</li><li>Build and maintain an efficient team of employees, driving the team towards the business objectives</li><li>Support the manager to control costs without compromising standards and the Slims guest experience, through weekly and daily line checks</li><li>Working in Back of House helping and training the team during peak times</li><li>Comply with all legislative and Company Food Hygiene and Health &amp; Safety requirements and help promote a positive safety culture throughout the business</li></ul> Experience<ul><li>Proven leadership expertise and excellent problem-solving skills</li><li>Previous experience working in a management position within the catering and hospitality industry</li><li>High level of communication skills with the ability to effectively coach and develop your managers and team</li></ul> Personal Attributes<ul><li>Friendly and approachable</li><li>Career orientated</li><li>Have superb organisation skills</li><li>Uplifting and motivating with a good sense of humour</li><li>Strong communication skills</li><li>Enthusiasm and strong but fun personality</li><li>Excellent time management</li><li>Take pride in personal appearance</li><li>Flexible in your availability/working hours throughout the week</li></ul> What’s in it for you? <ul><li>44 Hour contract based over 5 days</li><li>A chance to join a company with ambitious growth plans with opportunities to develop and progress your career in an exciting industry</li><li>Participation in the pension scheme</li><li>28 days paid holiday</li><li>An overall fun, motivated, and growing team to work with!</li><li>Stream - Access to advanced pay</li><li>50% Discount off your total bill for you and 5 friends in our restaurants (T&amp;C&#39;s apply)</li><li>Free meal while you’re working</li><li>Your growth and development is as important to us as it is to you- we work with you to support your development every step of the way.</li></ul> Are you an inspirational leader? fun?
